NALW at Political Party Conferences 2023: Uniting for a Holistic Healthcare Future
We will attend the upcoming party conferences to discuss our General Election Manifesto for a Holistic Healthcare Future. We’ll be at the following events:
- Conservative Party conference on October 2nd and 3rd
- Labour Party conference on October 9th and 10th
- Scottish National Party Conference on October 16th and 17th
The clock is ticking, with a daunting projection of 9.1 million individuals in our nation grappling with significant illnesses by 2040. This revelation demands our immediate attention, as 2.5 million more lives stand on the precipice compared to 2019.
The pressing need for healthcare transformation cannot be ignored, denial is not an option. Our current approach, fixated solely on physical health, is ill-equipped to confront the challenges of burgeoning mental health issues, an ever-expanding list of illnesses, and deep-rooted social inequalities.
