Guest Speaker: Dr Farzana Hussain

Dr Farzana Hussain lives and works in Newham, East London. She has been a GP for over 20 years. She is also a mum of two medical students. She has been a Primary Care Network Clinical Director for Newham Central 1. Dr Hussain has had previous national roles as Co-Chair of the National Primary Care Network at NHS Confederation and has been on the board of the National Association of Primary Care. In 2019 she was awarded GP of the Year. Her philosophy as a GP is to be able to connect and comfort even when we can’t cure.
