Christiana Melam MBE awarded Honorary Membership by the UK Faculty of Public Health

The UK Faculty of Public Health (FPH) has awarded Honorary Membership to our founder, Christiana Melam MBE — a recognition of her outstanding leadership, vision, and contribution to public health through social prescribing.

This honour reflects how social prescribing, when delivered through professional social prescribing link workers, can meaningfully tackle health inequalities, improve access, and advance population health outcomes.

A well-deserved recognition that reinforces our mission at NALW.
