The BCWB Training Hub intends to improve patient outcomes by investing in those providing care and supporting sustainability.
Research and intelligence
The National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP) is dedicated to the advancement of social prescribing through promotion, collaboration, and innovation. They create collaborative partnerships across the arts, health, sports, and leisure, among other areas, to promote health and wellbeing. Founded in 2019 by the Secretary of State for Health, Matt Hancock.
Best practice development
The NHS England Personalised care group identified that the rollout ambitions were threatened with retention issues, partly due to a lack of understanding of the types of supervision for social prescribing link workers and how they work in practice. NHSE solicited NALW’s assistance to develop best practice products to address the gaps in knowledge.
